Met up with my buddy Henry on Friday morning (my Birthday  Grin ) at McDonalds in Pickens
SC for a ride up 178/215/BRP to Mingo Falls...

          route <------- google map

          mingo falls <---- mingo falls

I lead us up 178, we split off at Rocky Bottom and went up to Rosman "the back way"...

Henry lead on 215, I have to stay on it to keep him in sight around the next turn... well... usually
it is Henry around the next turn  uglystupid2

I saw this fellow pull over in my rear-view, but he didn't come get us... whew...

Everyone always stops here, right before 215 connects to the BRP, for a picture...

It was a good day on the BRP... we were in the clouds a lot at first, but it was clear by
the time we got to the Cherokee end... we passed through places where it had rained, but
we didn't hit any rain  cooldude

Some BRP colors:

Mingo Falls is pretty easy to find, you have to walk up about a million stairs to get up to the
viewing platform...

Here's a glimpse of how good these roads are...

Henry sent me more pictures...

Here's the million uneven riser/unequal tread width stairs you have to go up to get to see mingo Falls...

Here's the bench some wise person put at the top  crazy2 :

Anybody remember Bay stations? Everytime I go by this sign I want to take a picture...
