Yes, at times I'm glad my diploma says Florida Technological University (FTU) instead of UCF.  Most aren't aware of the former school name, had an interesting time out there back in the early 70's. Couldn't work while hauling around a brace and cast on the lower left leg so decided to finish the B.A. and do as much grad work as possible since the $$ were available through the GI bill and elsewhere. School population was much the same numbers as now, just fewer zeroes....something like 5500. Once I was healed and became mobile, I kept the use of the lower leg brace for registration purposes, when I went to register for the new session, I always wore the brace and shoe it was attached to. Always got a special sticker that way which let me park closer to the bldgs. instead of 1/4 mile away at times.  angel
