Yeah, we're good, thanks for checking. We were actually out of town when it hit, but had family house sitting. Our house was spared. My parent's house in Garland was actually closer to the tornado, and my sister on the other side of Rowlett was very close but also spared.

You don't have to go far from my house to see MASSIVE damage, very surreal, but so awesome to see our little community coming together to help each other out.

It started up close to my house at Samuel Farm in Mesquite-crossed the street into my subdivision in Sunnyvale and took off 1/4 of the roof of a brand new big house and 6 power poles-about 100 yds away from my house--never heard a thing---skipped into the next subdivision 200 yrds down and took out 8 homes..one was $800k I was told--nearly swept it..before going nuts further east...a 4,000 watt generator was purchased the next am for some lights and to keep the fridge cold--noisy as can be on the patio---went thru quite a bit of fire wood in the next 3 days before the power was back up...we were very fortunate not to be killed...
