Bikers don't need shrinks!

My friend Mike Traynor died today.  He was the reason Ride for Kids exists and so many kids are helped.  There were many sides of Mike that most don't know about.  He loved to ride and ride FAST.  How long had Mike loved to ride? Mike was racing bikes back when he was stationed overseas in the military as a young man.  And, the last time I was with him, we were discussing how fast you could safely ride a sidecar using a Honda ST1300 as a tug.  I can also remember sitting in the rain of Hurricane Ike while the two of us watched the motorcycle races at Indy.  I'll miss him and his infectious passion to make a difference.

He devoted his life to helping save the lives (and quality of lives) of kids he would never meet.  You can read the brief note here... http://www.pbtfus.org/media/2009/mike-traynor.html

There are those who pass their time on earth Existing,  and then there are those who Live.  Your friend was one of the Living.    angel   cooldude

Thanks guys.  Here's just one piece of the work he did...http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2009/Sep/090913a.htm
One of our local patient families commented this way about Mike, "greatness wrapped in humility" and it's so true.
