Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Might do the batwing project this winter. What years of fairing works the best? What have you done far as mounting? I would like to reuse my oem shield brackets if possible. Any other tips would be great. I've searched the 'old' and alot of the older pictures are gone.  Evil

Ghostrider can help you with this, Fudge.  I believe he just turned his OEM mount upside down.  Make sure if you buy one that the cutoff for the headlight is large enough.

Don't know if you would be interested in the Memphis shades batwing or not but I saw one on craiglist last night for $300.00 but didn't indicate if it came with the mounts or not. Ad said it was too low with A 9" shield, guess he didn't want to buy a taller shield. Don't have the link right now but if I remember correctly it was in the midwest area.
