Wink Adding a f6b center stand and I need the muffler guard piece with the indent in it. Does anybody have one or know where to get them cheaper than new?

I got mine on eBay.  I called around to some of the salvage places on eBay asking if they had one.  I found one at a place in Ohio, and they listed it for me.

I cut mine out by hand. With the money saved I bought a brand new stand.

Take your time as it's easy to screw up. The stand does not come straight up.

You just have to take off the front cowl, on the front, and the exhaust cover on the left.  It is only 1 bolt that holds the shield on that you want to replace.

Cheesy Russelville Honda in Arkansas sold me both exhaust sides for $70.00 shipped. They remove them when building trikes. Also sold me a new center stand with all the bolts and spring for $114.00 shipped. I'll sell the right side after I get it as they only sell them in pairs.

What exactly are you buying?  Is the muffler guard a guard off a regular gl1800?  Does it look the same or is it the same as on our bikes?  What do I ask for from places like Russelville Honda in AR?  thanks for the help.

It is the left muffler shield off any GL1800 Goldwing.  They are all the same, and they fit on our bike.

Okay so I bought a center stand off of fleebay.  It came with a spring, two steel grommets/spacer, and 1 bolt.  I am thinking I need two bolts.  It that right?

thanks

Yep, there should be two bolts.
One is a left hand thread (long bolt (90601-MCA-A00) with a spacer (50355-MS9-750)),
and the other is a right hand thread (short allen head bolt (90602-MCA-A00)).
You also need the part on the bike to hook the spring to (50538-MCA-000)

I just ordered the stand with hardware and the exhaust shields from Honda of Russellville, seem like good folks to deal with. They must trike out lots of Goldwings! So far also the best source of non-salvage parts too.

I'm going to change my levers to the black adjustable type as well.

I found their centerstand listing on ebay for $114 shipped, then called them about the shield and got the pair for additional $69.

Wink I paid $1.00 dollar more for the 2 items from them. Great source for new parts. It will be nice to have a center stand!!!
