Finally got to go to Stirgis in 2012 after working in 2 bike shops in Colorado where i lived for 11 years, and had to listen to all the riders going to, or coming from. Finally got rid of my second wife, not to say being married is bad, I just could not put up with being told what to do, and when to do it..... now semi retired, work in the winter to pay for more summer trips,,, starting to think of riding to North Dakota and Montana late this summer, thats next on my bucket list, or maybe up across Michigan, up into Canada across the top of the lakes then back south and home in northern Ill..... Im only 66 so have plenty more years to put miles on my 2014 Valkyrie. Have no desire to go to the east cost big cities I like long nice easy roads with fewer people. back in 1972 a friend and I rode from Chicago south to New Orleans to the golf coast of Texas, up to Denver, west to Vagas, stood at four corners, out to San Fran, up the  coast to Carmel, up into Idaho, into Utah, back across Wyoming, into Minnasota and Wisconsin back to Chicago, and 6 months later, moved to Colorado. 11 years there, moved back to Ill. for a better job, worked at that co. for 25 more years only riding alittle. Now riding alot more at least in the summer months... Adding it up on the 7 bikes Ive owned and where Ive been so far, Ive logged about 180 thousand miles, and like I said I an't done yet.
