cooldude Well I wouldn't miss it cause I really like College ball. The National Championship game was pretty much what I expected.  uglystupid2 I had no dog in the fight but I was pulling for the SEC. Some really Awesome plays on both sides  Shocked but Bama had a couple more in strategic times! Great Game. Have a good day!  coolsmiley

Yep...am a Gator fan first and an SEC fan second. Last night's game was a game between two true Championship caliber teams. Clemson never gave up and had speed, play calling, and a better quarterback (in my opinion) going for them.
Bama just wore them down and had a couple surprises for all playing and watching. Chalk another one up for Saban. Am thinking he will at least tie if not beat the record for Alabama.

Strange coincidence, I had just explained the onside kick to Rita, its purpose, variations and possible outcomes. It wasn't five minutes later that Alabama executed a perfect example, changing the entire momentum of the game. I really feel if 'Bama hadn't pulled that off, Clemson would have taken the trophy home. I didn't watch the entire game, but the times I did take a quick peek it appeared the Clemson quarterback was something to be reckoned with. Regardless, it was probably one of the best games I've seen in some time. In my view, neither team lost, regardless of the final score.  cooldude

I agree about it being a great game. The outcome made no difference to me either, and both teams deserved to win, but as we all know...

Great game to loose out on sleep for. cooldude

Clemson threw more, was more accurate, had a Hell of a lot better idea of when to move to keep from being sacked, and ran the ball very successfully a bunch of times.
If Alabama would have had Clemson's quarterback the game likely would have been a blow out.
Happy Bama won but was not impressed by Jake's overall game last night.

Whether he won or not I think the Clemson quarterback is a better quarterback.
Case closed.
