Wizard changed lanes from the fast to slow lane.  The kick stand some how came down.  Whe he tried to stand the bike back up to straighten out, the bike would not stand up.  He went into the driveway of The Napa store right by Michigan Honda.   I did not believe the kiickstand could do that.  Until I saw the grind mark in the asphalt!  He then hit the curb head on at 45 MPH.  The rar wheell kicked sending him over the bars.  looked like the bike flipped once and rolle into a telephone pole.  Pretty hardcore.   I cant get the old man out of the hotel.  He is hurting good.  I just hope he can suffer through an evening with the grandkids befor he leaves.   The bike is better than we thought.  Bars, mirrors handlebars and winshield are toast. The Interstate gas tank with the wizard is toast.  The hard bags are toast.   We will get the pics up ASAP.    Just glad he is O.K.

Be sure he doesn't need to be in a hospital. Some things can surface a few days after a crash. If he has bad headaches or is dizzy get him some medical care regardless of what he thinks.

He hasn't said anything to me about dizzy or headaches.  Just every muscle in his body aches .... and he's tired.  Pain does that to you.

Get a good check up Wizard. Thought I could ride on to Smokin Joe's FCR in 07 after sliding out. Rode 100 miles before giving it up. Right knee was pretty swollen, sore. Thought it was nothing but an ice pack and time to heal. Turned out to be a fracture which would have worn through the cartilidge and lead to eventual knee replacement.  We ain't as tough as we once was. Prayers for complete recovery.
