I have tested the button with a multi-meter. it works also cleane all of the switches with contact cleanner.

while cruising i can switch between the FM frequency and the clock with the button.. but how do you set the clock? i have pushed the button for like one minute and it never starts blinking to change the time. with bike on and off, radio on and off. just wont work. is there any trick??

Just ignore the clock. I set mine several times and after less than a month its off by at least 20 minutes.

From an old post:

Clock
Turn the key on or to ACC> Radio ON > Push and hold the CLOCK button until you hear a beep and the display starts blinking > Operate the VOLUMN lever to adjust the time, push the volume lever up and hold it until you reach the desired hour, then push the volume lever down and hold it until you reach the desired minute > Push the CLOCK button again to lock in the time display.

Mine works well, keeps accurate time between Daylight Savings Time changes, give or take a minute or two.

I know you have tried a lot of things without success. If the following doesn't work, you've got a real problem.

Make sure the AM/FM radio is on. The time must be showing, if the radio frequency is showing, push the clock button so that the time is showing. Then press and hold the clock button until it starts flashing. Mine starts to flash within about three seconds. If this doesn't work, I'd say you have a clock issue. Good luck. cooldude

Where is the clock circuit? i am guessing it is inside the radio box.. because when i had the radio thing under the seat disconnected nothing would show on the lcd.

Do you not have the owner manual?

If not, send me an email. I scanned the pages to do with the radio controls, into a PDF format.
