Hey all
First post so here goes.  Looking into new seats for my 99 I/S.  Looking at Ultimate lowrider as i am 5-10 170#.   But i need to know how much higher the passenger is than the driver seat.  My wife enjoys being able to see over my head on my vstar 1100 with mustang seats.

Thoughts?
Thanks

Don't get a lowrider, I'm 5'11" and had to get rid of my lowrider due to my balls getting mashed into the seat.  Get the bigboy.  BTW, my wife is 5'4" and could look over my should on all of the seats I've used over the years.

I have an Ultimate big boy 4 piece set off of my I/S that I am going to sell in the spring.
I don't know where you are in Ohio, but you are welcome to come to SW Ohio and try them out to see if you like them.

Thanks RDABULL
Thats good news. Im in Columbus and have had the I/S since maybe November.  love it.   The VStar 1100 had 8 inches between the passenger and driver.  So sounds like the ultimate will be no problem.

This Forum is great thanks again to both

I've found that seats are an individual thing. I'm also 5'11" (30" inseam) and I like my Lowboy much better than the Bigboy I had on my IS. It's nice to sit a little lower and it's also better on my back, maybe because it's firmer? No trouble with the "boys", of course the wife keeps them in a jar on the mantle most of the time crazy2

I have sat on all three models of the ultimate and all of them smashed the balls up to where they should never be tickedoff tickedoff

Good point!.  If the OP really wants a comfortable seat look into a Russell Daylong.  I sold my Ultimate and went back to a stock seat until I acquired a Russell, it's the only seat I'll ever buy now.
