Here is an update of things going on with Kathy and I. SHe had her 8th of 12 Chemo treatments yesterday. (2/1/2016) SHe is doing well and of this time has been told that the cancer is in remission. Of course they tell us in the next breath that doesn't mean it ownt be back at a later date. She should be finished with chemo the first week of April and two weeks after that they will do the important CT scan then one every three months for a year. Here's hoping.
We have been busy planning the wedding, (she plans I say "yes dear"). We have secured the Chapel at Bowdoin College. I can't tell who's happier, me or freshman Elizabeth D'Angelo. Kathy and I had lunch with her over the weekend, she is grown into quite the young woman. Very outgoing, involved in school and sports.
We are waiting for proposals (there's that word again) from florists and reception halls. We should have them booked in a month or so.
Work is kicking my ass. Training, moving up, and still in charge of paving in Bernie's neighborhood keeps me on my toes. It was suppose to slow down this winter, they lied.
Like I said, Kathy is well and that's the important part. She is working three days a week and is itching to get back to full time. SHe does have some side effects, like fatique, nausea and nueropathy (?) in her hands and feet. (can't stand to touch anything cold.) This will supposedly subside once chemo is done.
Hope you are all well, I creep the board when I have a minute, sometimes I have enough time to make a comment.
I miss all of you terribly and hope to start seeing everyone soon.
be well my friends,

I've been thinking about you both, and was going to write & see how you were doing, so thanks for  beating me to it. All that sounds wonderful, especially the remission part. Keeping the prayers going, just hang in there, both of you, Hugs!

Good to hear that she is doing well. Cancer sucks.
Few more months and we can ride.
