I have a throttle sleeve that is cracked and likely not far from failure.  The bike has custom grips and I would like to replace the grips with some nice Kuryakyn ISO grips but they do not make a set of grips that includes the throttle sleeve.
I have liiked in the parts fiche and do not see a sleeve available just the throttle assembly.  Anyone know if this part is available and what the PN might be or if the parts all come unglued in the package from honda.

The Honda sleeve has never been available as a stand alone part, requiring you to buy an assembly which includes the sleeve.

Now most of us buy the Valk specific Kuryakyn Iso Grips, which are like 6.25" (extra) long, which reuse the stock throttle sleeve.  But I think (not sure, going on memory) you can get a universal Kuryakyn Iso grip set at the standard length of 5.75" which may come with a new throttle sleeve.

Another little trick I learned long ago.  When researching parts fit/compatibility, you are much better calling the tech people of the company who makes the part, not the myriad of generic sellers.  The Kuryakyn tech people are much more likely to have the exact reliable info you need than whoever you get on the phone at the Motorcycle Superstore or Cruiser Customizing.  BUT, you do not buy from Kuryakyn (unless you want to pay MSRP), since all their parts are discounted by all the myriad of sellers.  It requires two calls instead of one, but you get a more reliable result.

There is a Kury knock-off ISO grip being sold on eBay for $30.00 or so. It comes with a removable sleeve.

I purchased a set at a swap meet for ten bucks just to see if they were any good. Turns out, they are good. I've done about 12,000 miles  with them and they still look good.

Appears to be $25 US for a new sleeve/grip assembly. 53145-MFR-305 I would eat the cost and keep my Kury grips. I love my Kury grips for the comfort they provide in conjunction with the Throttle Boss. My grips are on their second bike and have about 43,000 mi. of wear and still good as new.

I found the original grips from my old VT 1100.  Same part number as the Valk so I took the grip off the sleeve and cleaned it up. Just waiting for the ISO grips to arrive. Thanks everyone.
