Hello everyone.  Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Aaron. I have been on the VRCC site for a while and have recently moved to the Jacksonville, FL. area last year. I have to say I love the warmer temps. (I lived north of Atlanta, Ga for 33 years). Originally from New Port Richey, Fl. I didn't know how much I missed the beach and warmer weather until i moved back to FLorida.

I ride a 1999 Valkyrie Standard. she has 9,600 original miles on her and she is currently undergoing maintenance, and a transformation with a fairing install e/w radio, etc.

Is there anything I need to do to join the Florida Chapter?

Looking forward to meeting new friends here is the sunshine state.

Thanks,

Welcome from a part time Fl resident.  A buckeye snowbird.  Always glad to have another Valker.

« Reply #11 on: February 11, 2016, 04:16:39 AM »

Welcome Aaron,
Orange park here.. close by..  that's makes 3 or 4 that I know of that's local to Jax, sounds like we need to get us northerners(lol) together so we can ride down to one of the many rides that occur down south and represent!!

So you ask..  Is there anything I need to do to join the Florida Chapter?
Boy, with this group, that is a loaded question and I thought I would see a lot of responses to it.. Smiley

Anyways, always good to welcome in another Valk constituent (crap did that sound political? sorry!)-keith

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

As far as the 350z. I traded it last year for a 2013 Silverado. I haven't checked into changing my username (if I can or not).

Sounds like a JAX chapter forming.

Don't pay any attention to the Tropic Traveler. Anything under 85 degrees and he's riding with four layers on while Kim follows in her shirtsleeves.  Grin

Once I have my bike back together with fairing and radio install and some minor maintenance upkeep I plan on riding down that way to see how everything looks now. I haven't been down in Golden Acres since  1983 when I left. Would like to grab a bite to eat and cruise around with you guys.

Let me know when U plan on being down this way. Most of our rides normally leave either from the Park in San Antonio or the Hess in Brooksville.
