2014 Valkyrie 1800

Seminole, Florida

« on: February 20, 2016, 04:12:39 PM »

We've been doing quite abit of riding lately. Today we started out for breakfast, then through Brooksville, Floral City and to Dales Diner in Inverness on 41 for lunch. I stopped last weekend with my Dad for the Inverness Gun Show. This place has great food, very clean and friendly staff. It's not a bar, or open air place but very good home style food. We logged 285 miles and pulled in the garage with the same tank of gas we left with Grin Saw several Valkyries in Brooksville.

It was a gorgeous day when we finally got to the woods

I was surprised she just wanted to keep going, maybe it was the perfect temps, or just getting used to the bike?
That's my good news, she hasn't had the desire to ride with me in some time now. No complaints here we had a great day riding cooldude

Glad you both enjoyed the ride. I really like it when my better half goes out on the bike with me.

Jack...Nope, didn't make it. I've been putting in many hours (company buyout) and couldn't get up at 4:00am to start the course in Kissimmee at 7:00am and chose not to fight Friday night traffic to get a hotel. I will see if there is room in Grumpy's class. These run all year long.

Jess...I did. I'm a Scorpion fan.  Just can't beat the fit, extreme comfort and quality. The finish is better than $700.00 helmets. First new full face in 30 years and it didn't bother me after all day riding, no hot spots, very lightweight. I will certainly ditch it when Summer gets here and go back to my Scorpion EXO 100

Actually...I like that "STD" sounds good, if you don't think about what it is. I should get a new license plate too, it will keep people from getting too close, like a repellant Grin

Is that like the father at the table says, ever heard about the restaurants on the moon? They have great food but no atmosphere.  GROAN.
