Nice to get some wind! MUST. RIDE. MORE! Tom, George and I met up with the"Havasu Hit Squad" and headed out with a new friend, Josh, met along the way to the Gillespie Bridge for the proverbial photo op on the way to Gila Bend for an uninspired luncheon at the Space Age Diner. No Bueno! Been there many times but after checking it out on Yelp and seeing bad reviews, we tried it 1 more time! Sucked! George was right, shoulda listened! sigh! Food was bad but at least the wait was long! No worries, we have back up chow stops in the hopper for the next time! The Havasu group went on to Benson, Kartchner Cavern, Tombstone et al. Here's a coupla shots for any insurance claims or pesky legal ramifications that may be incurred. George, Josh and Tom Havasu Hit Squad overlooking at the overlook at the bridge. Preparing for ptomaine pain! Please discuss

The waitress said if we hadn't have been an hour late the food would have been much better. Sorry for the delay. It was good to see you guys again. We had a great time at the caverns. Tombstone was pretty touristy but it was ok. But today went in the crapper. We got 20 miles out of Tucson when Greg's rear tire decided to eject a 10" by 3" chunk of rubber as we were doing 80 down the interstate . By the grace of god nobody was hurt. Then as we are figuring how to get his bike home we get a call that our 3 year old granddaughter is being air vauced to Vegas. After hauling ass for 500 miles we are sitting in children's ICU with her. They are really good and god willing she will be out of here in a couple days. She is a tough little girl.

Thanks guys. She is doing better this morning. It's probably going to be a few days, but as long as she is conscious and talking I feel better.

Thanks George, she is doing pretty good. We got a rental truck and Greg and Debbie drove back to Havasu with us then we continued to Vegas.

Thanks for all the kind thoughts guys. She is much better, got transferred out of ICU last night. We decided to come back home last night as to not miss more work. The hope is she will be released today. If not Brenda and my daughter will go back up to support my son and his family. I just want to say how thankful I am for Sunrise Children's Hospital. They have saved this little girls life 3 times now. They are very knowledgeable with this juvenile diabetes stuff. My son is really good at monitoring her sugar level and keeping her in the right zone. But when she gets sick with the flu or a respiratory infection like this time everything goes haywire with her body and things go deadly really quick. Thanks again guys, see you guys on the next ride.
