EBay. And patience. They are out there for FAR less than your quote. They might not be "perfect" so...
That is exactly what I did. The slight damage (road rash) was underneath and not visible from bystander's point of view.
Good luck.
Ride safe.

The Kuryakyn Iso Wings are sort of a floorboard, and much cheaper. You have to get the ones without ends, and then the correct adapters for Valk front pegs.

I haven't actually tried it yet, but the GW GL1500 use the same drive foot pegs, so floorboards for the GW will fit the Valkyire.
Whether or not a heel-toe shift would also work, it is reasonable to assume it would, but I haven't done it (yet).

The rattlebars type peg lower kit are a good combo. with the kickshifter. Some are on VRCC classifieds. Work with the stock pegs. floorbaords and Iso wings as mentoned. I have had some with the Iso wings and kickshifter on for years.

keep hunting either on ebay or on this board, the pop up from time to time for around guessing 150 bucks used give or take depending on condition of course.
I bought my passenger cobras used but in darn good shape for 150 bucks on this site years ago.
