Hello all,

I am coming to work in Surprise AZ, building a Harbor Freight Tools.  Lucky me to work in AZ in the winter not just this year, last year in Lake Havasu City.  I will be in Surprise for 8-10 weeks.

I am really looking forward to this visit.  Yes I will have my Valkyrie with me and will be looking for some good rides when possible.  Last year, building my first Harbor Freight I did not get a lot of free time.  This year I hope to enjoy more personal time on the road and watching some spring ball.

I know BigBF and Meathead, I hope to meet others this trip.

I will arrive on March 6.

Thanks

Greg Hadley

Sounds good Greg  cooldude We will have to get out for a ride this time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time. Have you been to Sedona or Prescott? Some good roads and scenery.

Meathead,

I have been to Sedona and Jerome but not on my Valkyrie.  Over the years I have been to AZ several times prior to pulling my MC around with me.  I have been to Cave Creek and surrounding local area once on my Valkyrie, that visit was short.  This visit I want to get out there!

BTW......how is that HFT in Lake Havasu City holding up?

They are doing pretty good I think. Are you going to have weekends off ? There is also some good riding down by Tucson and over on the Eastern side of the state.

My time off is a mystery until I can judge the quality of the subs.  But generally yes, weekends are supposed to be mine.

Howdy! I'm in Glendale and I'm sure we can put together a day Ride now and again while you're in Arizona. G
Give us a shout when your schedule gets a little more solid and we'll come up with a plan!

Hi Greg and welcome,

I'm in Peoria, which is next to Surprise, retired and can ride pretty well anytime. If you get evenings off, Thursday nights are bike night at Westgate in Glendale and an opportunity to see what others have done to their steeds.

Hey Greg or anybody else looking to get out for a ride. Me and a Harley buddy are thinking of a ride to Prescott for lunch on Sunday. Possibly meet up at the gas station in Congress. Anybody got any good recommendations for lunch in Prescott ? Rob

the hotel st. Michel which is right on Highway 89 at the courthouse square is nice. Do you have a time frame for an arrival in Congress yet?

Michael, we are going to head out at 7 so that should put us there at 10. Unless of course I make another wrong turn   Cheesy I have been this route numerous times so I think I'm ok.  cooldude

Hey meathead

I will meet you at 10am in Congress. I know where the St Michael is, or we could go back to that place on the river that we ate at on NYD. Never had lunch there, but breakfast many of times and it was good.

Wish I could join you guys, but I've got some other stuff going on. If you go to the St. Michael, try the quiche, it's the best.

Thanks to Mike K, Rob, Ron, Jerry, Greg for allowing me to join them on their ride adventure to Prescott and enjoy a great Brunch at the Hotel St. Michael.

I had a great time.  I hope I can find the time to join another ride if it develops.

Thanks!

That was the road to Skull Valley out of Prescott. cooldude I guess I should of stop for a photo op in front of the gas station. I guess you will have to next time. Next we turn at Kirkland Junction and did the road to Bagdad. One of my favorite roads in AZ. cooldude  Glad you had a good time I know I did. What time did you get home?

I think it was close to 6. Stopped in Wikieup for gas and had a gang of 1%'s there, but no problems. I think that road is going down as my favorite in AZ  cooldude

George, you shamed Ron into the quiche.  2funny I think he liked his better than I did mine. It was good, but I think I'm more of a burger person than quiche. But it's always good to expand our horizons.  cooldude

Rob,
Quiche is an acquired taste, that's probably why real men go for hamburgers. Ron was probably just trying to show his softer side.
