I have September 24th thru 27th off work & I am going to do an IRON BUTT run. Leaving here in Broomfield, CO & going down to Las Cruces, NM then to Yuma, AZ then to San Bernardino, CA then to Las Vegas, NV then to where I-15 junctions to I-70 then back home to Colorado. I have not calculated the mileage yet but I am planning on doing the Saddle Sore 3,000 so I may have to go farther. This coming Saturday I will figure the exact route. Getting itchy to go. I will be taking the 1997 Valk GL1500C. It is running real good now. Maybe I will go to MAPS ON US & check out a route now. The IBA allows 72 hours to complete it...should not take nearly that long...I hope. Anyway...anyone want to ride along??? IBA 1990 tommy t .....hey Go Go Bombshell.***

okay...Got a route planned...if the weather holds up. September in the North West can be tricky...even bad. Start here in Broomfield, CO to Las Cruces, NM then to Yuma, AZ then to San Bernardino, CA then to Las Vegas NV then to ( And this may be the bad part ) Butte, MT them to Billings, MT then back to Broomfield, CO...a total of approx 3422 miles. That should do it. Gotta try...ya know? Ride safe y"all. IBA 1990 tommy t. ***** Hey Go Go Bombshell.*****

Best of luck to you on that ride. That's big time riding. Be sure your rear tire is in good shape. Rear tires can go quick once they get down to the wear bars.
I wish I was riding with you but work comes first.

Hey Raymond...Have new front & rear tires. Only have about 200 miles on them. That's mainly why I want to go now. I never go on a long trip without new tires. Tires don't seem to last as long as they did in past years. Making them too soft these days. But, that is another story...eh? Ride safe always. IBA 1990 tommy t...*** Hey Go Go Bombshell***
