Have I (We) thanked the STAFF!! lately? Nope I think not.

I was just looking thru the first thread in the list with the pictures of everyone's bike who's posted a picture. I was thinking how nice this new board is.

Thanks STAFF!! for all you've done and do.

If you haven't posted a picture of your bike DO IT!

Sincerely,

Raymond

Nope, I've been real nice for a long time.  Evil  I know all the staff personally, some of them I communicate with almost daily so I know the B.S. they get. I know the thanks they get for providing a free VRCC are small. If time is money they loose a mountian taking care of this club. It's amazing how little effort people will put into trying to figure things out on their own or just plain ask someone besides staff "how to".

Ray... After meeting you last week one can only imagine how often you get yourself in trouble  2funny 2funny   Besides that... I hope to see you over there at Carl's and Lori's tomorrow... I am going to try and stop by to say hello to all but I am not going to be able to stay long just can't pass up seeing everyone when they are just 10 min from where I will be !!!!

Whoever is riding up to kansas city or heading out this weekend I wish you all have fun and a safe return home... I am praying for all our vrcc members this weekend.. Sounds like most of us will be on two wheels...  So please please please ride safe....

I hope that someone makes a new thread with pictures of the events they did this weekend...  I'll do my best to share if you all do Smiley

I would like to thank the staff for their time on the board and also their time being on the board away from their family...  You guys do an exceptional job.   Admins if this next post is out of line I will edit it... But I think it is only right that everyone that posts on here should take a step back and know that this board is "free" to post on and "free" to read.  But, I learned not to long ago that the VRCC has to pay, yes pay, for the board to be online.  It is free to us but it does cost the VRCC.  I never new this because the VRCC is so generous that they never ask for money or put it out there that they do spend money to keep this going.  I would like to put a request for the admins to consider a location or a paypal account that the members of this board could freely donate to say a paypal account or something of that nature that is electronically transferred or for those that don't use paypal and would rather send a check to have an address that they could do so...

This board is worth not going out to eat one weekend a month and making a donation.  This all goes back to thanking the staff and helping in a way that we could all chip in if we desire.

Curious to know if anyone else feels the same way.  ???

+1 I've contributed to other boards I used and certainly would here as well if the option was there and we knew what it cost roughly per month so we could figure what to be a fair amount. Dave

The folks who run this board do it for "free" for their own reasons.  When they decide it is more to their benefit, then they will tell us what we need to know.  As for me, I have met and feel like I know most of them and trust their judgement.  As it is, it is the most enjoyable board, overall, I've had the pleasure to be on.

I was thinking yesterday how few spam messages we see now thanks to this new format and that many of the undesirables are no longer showing up every day to harass the management or posters.

For those who wish to support the board financially, buy from the supporting vendors and buy often.  Wink

T H A N K S Admins for the job you do!  I agree with the other posters that this is the best board, probably because of the people, that I have ever used for any length of time.

I would definitely contribute to the cause via PayPal and I think that's a GREAT IDEA!

Thanks again Admins,
