I pulled the carbs out to fix a fuel leak.  This vacuum line came out but I don't remember where it went.  I have a 1999 Valkyrie Interstate.  The rear two intake runners have vacuum lines on them and the middle intake runner had a vacuum line on it.  Could this mystery line come from the middle runner?

# 6 intake should be hooked up to the OEM petcock with a line.

#3 & 4 should be hooked together.

Unless you have a CA model or you've desmogged

Intakes 1,2 & 5 should have caps on the pressure boost joints.

How are you counting the runners?  The front and middle runner on the right side are capped along with the front runner on the left side.  I believe my rear two runners were hooked together.

The cyl numbers are as this 1,3,5 are one the right side. 2,4,6 one the left side of engine.  1 is the first runner on right. 2 is first runner on left

Is there a vacuum hose attached to the little nipple on the underside rear of the tank? That may be the tank vent tube...
Fred.

The hose runs up to the petcock, I just did not remember which runner it came off of.  I still believe it came off of the middle runner on the left side.  Really not sure what would happen if these hoses got mixed up.
