I was rolling shortly after 10:30 this morning, headed for Tetanusville and Shiloh's. The bike was dying on me when I first started it and I just figured it was being kinda cold blooded. But after 3-4 miles and quitting on me at every light and sometimes when I would downshift, I realized sumting wong! The fool thing simply wouldn't idle, let off the grip and it would die....so I turned around and headed back to the house. When I pulled in I still had a 30-40 min. window but was not to be, I couldn't pin down the trouble. I had recently pulled the tank and airbox, did some cleaning and maint. but have ridden the bike a number of times since with no troubles showing up. This is out of the blue and so far have no idea what the cause may be. I fiddled with the idle adjust and cable adjustment at the grip but it has to be something else since it just started with no warning. Now, the throttle doesn't want to return like it did. I can get it to idle up to a normal speed, then if I hold it to 3k rpm for a few seconds and release, it doesn't snap back like before. I was looking for a vacuum leak but found nothing so far, guess I'll pull the tank and airbox and start over. Really looking forward to all that.
