Geezzz the better it gets! cooldude

Starting to get very comfortable on this new ride.

I amazed at how nimble this bike really is.

The new Michelins...as said last year, REALLY turns this bike into a sport touring machine...

It turns so accurately...and quickly... and with those tires...really sticks well...

Total confidence...that is when you can start riding this bike like a sport bike..

Night and day difference over the stock tires..

Oh and lastly, dialing in the correct rear shock tension.  I have it like 6 clicks down now...and this made a big difference in straight line stability and handling...especially over surfaces that are not perfectly smooth.  The stock setting is really to stiff...unless you weight 300lbs or more!

Cool I've got mine at 4 clicks. I need to experiment this year with the settings. There truly is something that feels right about these bikes

Right...I messed with it a bit last year...with the old tires trying to get a better, more confident ride.  The I have been slowly turning it down to get it so it doesn't like wheel hop at high speed...  Turning this down really helps eliminate this problem.  I weigh about a buck 80...  I may try to more clicks down to 8 and see what happens...but right now it's close...I love just 'dodging into' turns!

23,000 miles on the clock and the rear shock absorber is set on the maximum hardness from day one.  Evil

I realized today that you must brake twice in order to warm up the pads first and then stop properly  uglystupid2 The funny thing of course is that I never needed to stop in emergency    Cool

(TWR Lucas brake pads, far better than the OEM pads I guess).
