Must Change Exhaust

Hello all:
My 2001 Interstate is just too loud. I don't mind a little noise but I lean toward the quieter side of the spectrum as far as preference. Here is the problem: I don't know what exhaust I have on the bike currently. Can someone explain to me how to upload some pics and I am hoping one of you geniuses can help me identify what I am working with here. There are no notations that I can see on any part of the exhaust. I don't even know if I have the stock header or not. Anyway I will post some pics if someone is kind enough to explain how to do that. Thanks in advance

The only way I can do it is thru Photobucket. Sign up , upload your pics, next to the pic will be 4 boxes . One of them says IMG, click on it. It should then say copied. Then go to your posting box and just paste.

At the risk of oversimplifying, compare your exhaust to some online pics. You should at least be able to tell if yours are stock--they likely aren't since they're relatively loud--then go from there. Plan on a spending a chunk of change, and being a bit patient, to get stock pipes back on there. Maybe a forum member would trade ya.

Check the classifieds here or ebay, I see stock unmolested all the time $300-600. If you can't find IS, get tourer/std and slip on truck stacks. The ones in this pic are 18" glasspacks with 36" stacks and Grumpy's tips.
