Hate to be wordy but the more information the better. When I got it home I checked to see if there was spark but could see none.
Coils can screw up with heat but more than one at once?  Could it be the icm?  The bike is a 1999 with 84,000 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree that it's unlikely the coils all would go bad simultaneously. It could be the ICM. Have you considered a poor connection or a bad battery?
