I'm in the UK and bidding on some hard panniers on eBay (UK eBay) which the seller says he brought in the States for approx $285. The seller is too far away from me to visit for a look and I wondered if any of you guys know this make of pannier and whether they are any good? They are eBay number 150373503142. I'd post a picture here to show you but I can't seem to figure out how to do it!
I do a fair bit of touring in europe and do use the panniers a lot. I currently have the standard Honda leather ones which are ok but a little small.
Thanks very much for any advice you can offer.

The seller has triked his Valk and I'm pretty sure it was a 'standard'. He mentions in his advert that he made up some fitting brackets that will come with the panniers so it might well be that they are custom ones or possibly from another type of bike.

cooldude   Learned something today.... I learned what a hard pannier was.

Those are not Honda and must be aftermarket.  I have seen some similar to that on EBay I do believe.....

Good luck

Since they come with the hardware to mount them I would not be too concerned about the application since the basic Valkyrie is the same in all the styles.

I haven't seen that type before. They look good, the only caution I would have is that since they are off the bike, it's dificult to judge just how big they are. If I were you I'd ask the owner for dimensions.
Good luck

Send the guy a message through ebay asking where he bought them and if he knows a brand name or something, so you can do some internet searches about them.

They look sweet, that's for sure. Not particularly big, though...

Thanks for all the comments, helped a lot. I think I'll keep my bidding low and see how it goes. If I miss them I'll hunt around the dealer sites for some known names. Cheers for the help.

When I was looking for hard bags I saw those somewhere on the internet. I remember the large lights on the lids, it looks like someone added the LED lights in the lower part of the bags.
