Hey guys,

I'm curious what does and does not swap out from an Interstate and a Tourer. I have an 98 Tourer and I like to begin buying and storing away a few parts. stuff like final drive, shafts and u joints maybe even rotors. So before I go and begin purchasing such items I need to know what wont fit my bike if I was to find parts from say an Interstate thats being stripped down.

All the parts you mentioned will swap just fine EXCEPT. In 2000, the rear rotor/caliper setup changed. If you get a late model rotor, you should also get the caliper/bracket setup too. Some have used a small washer under the new style rotor to realign it for the old rotor.

Yep 8mm washer and it is a perfect fit.

Thanks,

I wasn't sure if the final drive was geared same for the reason of asking then I thought I best ask about the other drive train components.
Now off to look for spares.
