looking to purchase some LED replacement bulbs to replace the 35 watt H-3 bulbs in factory spotlights on an interstate. Don't know to much about the terms SMD, Creel, any help would be great.

I would be very interested in what you find. I've been wanting to do this for a while but haven't found anything.

FWIW, SMD stands for Surface Mount Device, or soldered flat to a circuit board, instead of with contact pins. CREE is/was a manufacturer of very bright, SMD type LEDs, but, much like Xerox and Kleenex, has started to be used for any similar device, not always made by Cree. caveat emptor

Some of the ones I've looked at seem they might be to long to fit in the housing. I'm gonna pull one of mine aprt and see how much room is there. I did find a few that about the same size as the stock ones but gonna wait till I see what will fit.
