Thought I'd shoot a little video with my new ION camera.  I thing it did exactly what I needed it to do.  The next thing is to get it to show a live stream.

Why did you say you were going to the store (because you like going to the store) and then not go to the store? Are you ashamed of your store? Huh?  Undecided  Shocked

I've made trips to the store and rode through a couple of states before I got there.

Picked uo an Air Pro earlier this year myself. Walmart closing them out and got it real cheap including extra battery and accessories. Even ordered replacement adheasive stickers and add attachement on line at Walmart half price. Mounted mine on helmet has very wide view. You get a little more gitter from mounting it that way. Yours is very stable. Your Video has very narrow field not sure how you did that. Looks like you mounted it on crash bar were it would show more tire and engine. Do not like the high wind noise. Mic is very sensitive. Tried to muffle mike with a spong cover but does not help. There is a natural wind howl while driving anyway and it is probably picking that sound up. Has very good picture quality though.  What are you using to edit the video. I have 2 programs which when processing the video the program seems to rewrite it in real time like copying a vhs tape to digital so a half hr clip takes half hr to process. I got mine primarily for the dash cam reason as riding around in the traffic you may need a reliable witness some day. I am getting a lot of people changing lanes crowding me out and a vew pull outs.

As far as the store goes it was Wally-World and picked up the WIFI ad-on and the extra mounting options they had on clearance for less the $10 total Wink Wink.  I cut it down because I was out of the few twisties I did have and the rest was a boring straight away ride.

The camera is the ION WIFI.  I thought that the video was pretty good and have a wide view as well.  It was mounted on the crash bar.  I glad you mentioned that you did the sponge thing. I was going to try that as well.  The mount I used was from a different camera that got lost at around 90+ mph coolsmiley.  I just happened to be the same size as the ION mount.

This was just a test to see how it performed.  I am hoping to mount it on the front of the bike somewhere.  Not sure where just yet.

And as far as the software used, I used Movie Maker in Win7.

Thanks for the comments!

Nice to hear the smooth clicks of shifting gears, better than the bang clunk I hear from others I ride with on their Harleys
