The riders involved in this crash were members of the Brothers Speed motorcycle club located in Portland Oregon.

I went to their web site and found their credo is....brotherhood, respect, riding fast, and building the most badass choppers around.

The website also has a link called memorials which has pictures of deceased members dating back to 1971.

Oh well Sad

things happen fast for sure.   2 days ago in Texas on hyway 105 from Navasota to Conroe, Tx, a guy about 40 and a younger guy on a Harley and a crotch rocket were taking an afternoon ride and a young college girl coming the other way dropped something in the floorboard of her car and bent over to retrieve it and swerved headon into the two bikers.  One was killed instantly and the other so far has lost a leg and it is doubtfull he will be able to keep one of his arms.

Point is.....when something like that goes down you really odn't have time to react.  All you can do is try to stay alert to the best of your ability.   Nobody said riding motorcycles aint dangerous.  It's a risk we all take when we ride.

Brother Speed members were riding in too tight of a formation to bail out of a mass head-on crash into RV.  I am sorry for their loss and damages, but this is all pilot error.  They need to rethink their club name and change it to something like....  'Brothers go back to MSF and learn to ride safely.'

About a week ago here in Orlando, a motorcycle cop was on his way home from a 10-hour shift riding his personal motorcycle when he rear-ended a car stopped in the road. The impact killed him instantly and appeared from the news video that he never slowed down.

It does happen fast
