I know this is of topic. i have had valks through the years and have always had good advice from this board. maybe some have or know of a good car tire for the 1800 goldwing that is available. I have the kumho and is wore out. i see that the 195-55-16  popular ones, michelin primacy alpin and the kumho *run flats are no longer available. Any ideas?

Not having an 1800 or even reading about one, not much I can say.

Maybe this would be better posted in the GL1800 Valkyrie section, than the GL1500?

Hey Big,
Kumho Ecsta PA31 in size 195/60-16 is what I recently put on my '08 Wing. I like it, look it up on tire rack for all the details.

The Autosone taxi tire has long been popular with Goldwing riders. I know that my local Honda dealer carries them.

looking for the runflat. which i see is no longer available. May go with the Avid Envigor or potenza pole position tires. Is a more all season perform tire. But less mileage. Some are going with the bstone driveguard which is opposite treads and is class as a touring tire more for the mileage but i ride the twisties so not sure about it. looking for the best as soft ride for the wife, sticky for curves and last good mileage.

When did they stop making the run-flat Michelin? I just bought one a few months ago... well a few... like 10.  Cheesy
