We left early Sunday am headed for PA and didn't get wet other than a few sprinkles just west of Wheeling, WV...but not even enough to put on rain gear. It was a great weekend for riding. I just felt bad for anyone headed south or west.

We went West and got the caught about 60 miles East of Quincy. It was bad; couldn't see the taillights ahead and all we could see was the center stripe at best. After a while we pulled into a gas station and they gave the six of us each a dry towel; Now that's service! We had lunch at the attached Subway shop and they even had free wireless Internet so we could watch the storm move North. We were well taken care of that's for sure. After the storm passed, we again headed West and stayed out of the rain for the rest of the day. Eventually the sky turned blue and the air dry and warm. Got home safe and sound in KC around 7. All in all, it was a great, and memorable, day of riding. I can't wait to do it again! CBR, CBR, CBR . . .

rained cats and dogs most of the way back to Bama.....we were fotunate to be Trailer Queens again. But the rain was extrememly heavy many times...so heavy you could barely see. Sure was glad the weather cooperated at CBR!
now, we're having flash flooding here in Bama...as the rain continues!
