Rear shocks URGENT

HELP   I need   rear shocks  for my  97 Valk    tried to adjust the rear shocks  when the  right side started to twist  at the eye    will probably brake   soon   need to replace   before    next weekend  if you have   a set of shocks  please  email me    advntdad@hotmail.ca

Where are you, Doug?  I have old OEM shocks that creak on the rebound of a deep compression, like when entering a driveway, but they work and are safe.

Thanks  gryphyn   just found  a  new  set on Canadian motorcycles   new   500  delivered   I am in Sudbury Ontario   

don't think  they   would  get here  before  next week   so I can make it  to dover  for Friday 13th

so  how  much  of a pain  in the ass are these gona be to change??

Easy job. 15 minutes on a standard 30 on a tourer or interstate just because you may have to remove the bags. You might want to get new shock bushings too.

So does that mean you'd rather skip Port Dover while waiting for new shocks, or do you want to look into quick shipping from Calgary to Sudbury?  I suppose you could expedite the new ones as well, for a price.

I have original equipment 97 standard shocks, you can have them for shipping cost. they will need new bushings i believe

Same way we put on our pants.... for pretty much the same reason.

either u were starting to turn the shaft or tightening the end onto the shaft more. the top shock mount can be unscrewed.

Thanks  for all the help     I will put  the new  ones  on one side  at a time  just lie my  big boy  pants hahah    and  yes  for the price   they better come with new  bushings  hahah
