Electrical Problem Resolved 
The trouble was with IG2 circuit. Rather than wait for several weeks for a new ignition switch, we ran a separate wire with a relay and a 30 amp fuse for the IG2 which controls the tachometer, tail lights and head light.
The local Honda dealer said that a new switch could not be keyed for the gas tank or seat removal. He stated they were able to do it when the bike was still in production, but not now. I didn’t want two different keys.

I'm sure you can move the tumbler from one ignition to the other. Or get a lock smith to change the tumblers to match the other locks. Easier when you have both tumblers and both keys in hand.

Might even be able to do it yourself. Lots of u tub info on my BMW ignition when I needed to play with the ignition. Key in, turn to on, using a paper clip through the hole, press, and the tumbler comes out (or something like this).

If you figure it out, maybe take some pictures and post the process. I have some Honda mc ignitions around, and look at and see if I can figure it out (Shadow ACE T).
