Has anybody tried the Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3.

Performance Winter Rated 92/H

Good looking tread and seems to be rounded on edge.

Any feed back appreciated

as soon as my E3 wears out, I've been looking at the Dunlop Signature II.
they list a tread width of 5.5", same as the Austone but only 26.5" dia vs austone at 26.9" dia.

Interesting, I think you might be on to something there.  Have you heard of other riders using this tire or did you just stumble across it?  If you do guinea pig it please report back.

Rick, the link below is what I recently mounted on my Valk. Nice rounded shoulders and the tread is less than 10mm narrower than a 205/60. Love the way it handles and the size gave me a tad more room to work with when I installed it. Take a look.

Hey Rick, that the tire most GW riders are using and everyone is real happy with it... I'm planning on going to it on my next tire...

Thanks John - The narrower 195 looks interesting - possible better maneuverability up in the mountains.

That is the tire i have ran and other on 1800 GW but was the runflat which is no longer available.I have ran the 205-55 Toyo and hankook which both did real well but also are no longer avla for tha size. I now have the neiem on which i like well but has the opposite directional tread. Which i think i prefer same direction tread. Anybody runflats on the valk? The wingers declare by them.

I have it on my Goldwing. Works great. I think it'd be a good choice for a valk too, but it's spendy at $185. As a WINTER tire it's wear rating is low too. That makes it sticky. But will also limit the miles before you need another...

YMMV
