Is anyone aware of a dual color (amber/red) replacement or retrofit light kit for the rear?  I'd like to add some brake lighting to the rear by making the turn signal bullets light up bright red for braking and bright amber for turn signal operation.  Ideally an LED set up so it's bright.  Thanks for any enlightenment!!

I think I remember some LED inserts that had both amber and red (circles). I don't know how bright they were (no idea where).  Nothing wrong with red signals, it's simpler.

I have the Electrical Connection Turn Signal Conversion Kit which is a circular array of LEDs that are adhered to the inside of the turn signal lens.  It provides both running and brake lights.  The amber turn signal bulb stays in place and the LEDs go off when the turn bulb flashes on.  It uses a diode-y with a resistor in one leg to do the job.

I also have a LED brake light that flashes three times before going on solid...

I just got off the phone with electrical connection.  They are not using  "y" connectors in the kit. They are shipping with the connectors as shown in the pic on their web site.  Thought I would clarify this as it said that the connectors were being replaced in the valk installation write-up.

Make it easier, I just went to clear lenses and dual function LED's that are bright red for brake, run and turn. Prior to that, I painted the inside of the OEM amber turn lenses and installed plug in LED's. Worked great for the few years I had that set up, then went the route mentioned first....which is even brighter.

I put front turn signals on the rear along with clear lenses. Switchback 1157 leds that change from red to amber for turn signals.

Just got  a email form Necole at Electrical Connection.
(I just received what I needed to finish the Turn Signal Conversion Kit, so I will ship your order out tomorrow.)   cooldude
I've already got the Kuryakyn deep dish bezels with red lenses on the back turn signals so this should help light up the Phat Girls rear  Cheesy.
