First of all, thanks to everyone who gave me feedback about my tapping sound from my motor.
I took the advice, and checked the exhaust mounting bolts.
9 out of the 12 bolts were good and tight. 2 just took a slight nudge to be tight. One took a full turn to get where it needed to be.
Holy crap! My IS sounds like a different bike. I never realized how throaty the old girl sounds, now the exhaust is actually getting to the end of the pipes.
Once again thanks all

Now get in the habit of regularly checking the exhaust bolts when the engine is cold. They are notorious for loosening up. The also only take 7lbs of torque and are also notorious for stripping.

The studs do break easily but I don't remember complaints of them stripping
