Good evening,

I wanted to give you an update on my friend who was in the motorcycle accident just over a week ago.

She has been moved to a rehab facility in Saginaw, MI.  I understand she’s pretty bruised up. She can feel her legs and arms; however not able to move them without the help of the therapist. It's still early and she could still have swelling in her head and spine causing the problems. I also understand she’ll be at the rehab facility for quite a while. Her boyfriend Ron has been released from the hospital with two broken arms, broken back and broken ribs.

My original thread started on 9/15/09; if you’ll recall Strider suggested that everyone send her a card when we had an address. I do have that address and would it would be much appreciated if you would put cards in the mail to her. I would like to “flood” her with them, enough she can feel the love and support of our “family”.

Healthsource Saginaw
Attn: Laurie Bouchillon Room A142
3340 Hospital Road
Saginaw, MI  48603

Please continue to keep Laurie and Ron in your prayers. Sounds like they both have long road ahead of them to a full recovery.

This club is awesome!

Thank you,
Blessings
Carolyn

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

Man, let's cause the Post Guy to go to the hospital as well - with a hernia!!!!!!!!

COME ON FOLKS!  Get em and mail em!!!!!!

It meant so MUCH TO JILL (Sunshine) when she was in the hospital - I know it will mean as much to Laurie and Ron!  Jill still keeps every card in a box and brings them out when I visit - just to show people cared!

OKAY, we got two riders down - going tomorrow and the card is going in the mail!  Let's load em up - give the Post Dude a hernia!!!!!!!!!!!!  cooldude cooldude cooldude

HERNIA IS A GOOD THING!!!! WHEN IT COMES TO LET A FELLOW RIDER KNOW WE CARE!!  Smiley

Glad to hear that she is feeling her arms and legs.  They said Jill would not walk again - she was in the same shape and yes, she is walking again, but it takes a lot more than what we think it will take after an injury like that.....

HERNIA DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!

Let a fellow rider KNOW WE CARE!!!! (Because I know we do!)  cooldude cooldude cooldude (You won't ever believe what it means to the folks on the other end).

Sent an email this evening to everyone on my email list to let them know about Laurie and Ron - now we got Moonshine on the trail!!!!  cooldude

Man, let's send a card tomorrow......Give a hernia to the post dude!

Bringing this back to the top.  cooldude

UPDATE - I just finished writing and printing my letter to go inside my card.  Again, folks, trust me, you can never imagine what it means to get a kind thought from the folks on the OTHER END.

This is another one of those things that will make us all proud - GIVE THE POST DUDE A HERNIA!

There was another member not long ago that had email access to the hospital and the nurse said that they had never had so many respones before to any room - let's do it again.  cooldude

It's been easy to keep Laurie in my prayers, since my wife Carolyn's best friend's name is Laurie...

I sent out a card this morning...

Thank you to those who have put cards in the mail to Lauire. Patrick and I hope to see her this weekend. I'll make sure to report back on her condition.

Take care,

I live just a few miles from Health Source If you or anyone else need/want anything hand delivered, I'd be happy to do it for you. Good thoughts and prayers on the way.

Bill (Slyk Willy)

Hello!

It's great that you live so close to Healthsource. I know Laurie will by there for quite some time. Maybe when she's futher along in her recovery I could ask you to make a visit to her.

Thank you!
