Missed the ride for breakfast, but had a previous engagement, I spend all day Friday and today in Pepin Heart Institute. Spent 2 lousy days getting poked and scanned by every thing known to medicine. Bottom line had a minor heart attack, no damage to the heart. Now have a new batch of drugs to add to the mess I all ready take. Right now gonna crash, have had less than 2 hrs sleep since about 1 am Thursday.

Looks like there was some minor blockage, I am on a daily low dose nitro meds now and beta blockers. Doc wants to see how things progress over the next few weeks. If things stay normal with the drugs, nothing else will be done, if not looking at a couple stints being put in. I am hoping the drugs do the job. |

Don't complain buddy. Glad your OK. Had a bad month myself. hurnia operation 3 wks ago. Wife shoulder replacement last Wed. Oldest daughters birthday Thur 5th Wifes birthday on Fri 6. Fri morning got a call daughter died over night in her sleep was having problems and didn't go to doctor. Drove up to Chicago last week wife in much pain and worst week I ever spent. You did th right thing. Prayers for many more birthdays.

I am OK, just taking it easy. I just had a close one, but thankfully got treatment in time to keep from any long term damage. Doc said I can still ride in a few days, just no strenuous work and getting over heated.

Seriosly, take it easy man!
I will be ok, just starting to come down off the drugs. So dam dizzy yesterday and today could barely walk. Between a dozen aspirin, nitro pills and blood thinners, plus injections for stress testing i have been on a cheap drunk. Had to type with one eye shut yesterday as seeing double most of the time. Talked to the doctor today, and so far the prognosis is good. |

My own fault, doing some yard work in the hottest part of the day and over did it. Came in and got the classic symptoms, pressure in my chest and left arm hurting like hell. said some thing to the wife, and she hauled me to the emergency room. Of course, had my ass ate out by my son and daughter for doing some thing dumb. guess it is time to bite the bullet and get a yard service to cut the grass etc. |

Bill, keep in mind that if Rita had driven me to the ER, I wouldn't be here today. When the paddy wagon came to get me, I passed out just a couple blocks from the house. Found out later they did CPR and shocked me all the way to the hospital. I opened my eyes ten days later. If I had walked out to the car, I most likely would have dropped before I got to it. The hospital is just a few blocks away but I wouldn't have made it out of the driveway.

Sorry to hear you had the problem Bill but glad it wasn't any more serious. Hope the meds keep things under control. Stent surgery is not bad anymore. I had three put in last summer. They go through the wrist. Hopefully it won't come to that.
That hot weather is for drinking beer not mowing lawns.
