Saturday ride

I'm planning on riding up to Kamloops via Hwy 5, on this Sat morning. Going to check out a couple of places for next years Valhalla rally, so I have some info to put forward for the 2016 Valhalla.

Ride up to Hope for breakfast. Wife takes a while eating, so most likely about 1.5 hr stop there.

A quick ride/stop in Merritt, then up to Kamloops.

Maybe a ride back through Hwy 1 and the Fraser Canyon.

Right now, BC Weather is showing warm and cloudy. Just the way I like it.

Maybe people would ride up and meet in Hope, join for breakfast? I figure about 9 am at the Hope Drive Inn. Across from the McD.

If you've ever explored the area before, might be cold, but the Othello Tunnels, is a nice walk.

Cold, cloudy. Got colder before Hope. Started to rain. Stopped in Hope for breakfast, but decided to turn around and come home.

Might try again on Monday for Kamloops. Still want to go for a ride to see how my new-to-me motorcycle is doing.

Finding something wrong with almost every ride. Found the petcock switch unscrewed from the petcock (disconnected from the petcock). Re-attached, but found that the switch bolt doesn't mount onto the bike properly. Need to look over another bike to see what is wrong with mine.
