I've asked this question in the past.  Still looking for resolution.  Has anyone modified the angle of the National Cycle Switchblade windshields on a std. Valk?

The windshields are great.  I love the quick-release mounting too, but their angle is not a steep as the Honda factory windshields and result in more buffeting, wind noise, etc.

I still haven't figured a way to lean the windshield further back, in part because it hits the speedo & tack gauge bodies.

Appreciate anyone's input.
thanx,
bill

Interested in this too! Would love some more rake in the windshield. I need the quick detach, as it wont fit in my cycle shell otherwise.

I had the same issue with my SlipStreamer Classic. I fabricated 1 1/4" spacers out aluminium bar stock, drilled them to light weigth them then I mounted them to the upright (vertical) shield brackets then re-established the mounting holes lower on front side of the spacer thus giving me tilt and closing the gap over the headlight at the same time.  You might enlarge my pic to examine them further. The B&W "Bucket Photo" shows them the best.

I have the shorter version (15") of that windshield and get the same issues.
Grumpy, in the Florida section has the 13" and likes his. Apparently it flows enough, low enough, to stabilize the helmet.

FYI...........
Since my '2 UP' is fairly old, I cut it down to 14 1/2" ......just a 1 1/2" taller than the 'Shorty' and while I can now see over the windshield (which is great) I found very little difference in buffeting, etc. from my original '2 UP' height.

I think the secret is in getting the windshield to lay back.........the question is 'how'?
