I searched for this but couldn't find it. 98 standard. Got the covers off but now what? does it just pry off? I see nothing hold the lens cover to the body. What are the next steps. TYIA

Tell us what you found. I want to take mine apart too, I've got some
LED lights to put in there. The one time I looked the tach and speedo
over, I thought taking them apart seemed mysterious...

Just remove the two bolts to unmount it. One horizontal One vertical. Makes it easy to get to cover screw. Take back screw out at back of chrome cover, and the very small phillips head in the mileage reset knob. Slide cover off. See the wire that goes in to the back of white casing. Into rubber grommet. Just pull on the grommet to remove bulb. Then just reinstall.

I recently put LEDs in mine and the SuperBright went into the tach fine but a close fit but the speedo took some pressure to install but went in. Just a head up.

When I first put them in, it wasn't so much about getting them in, moe that the little short wires on the LED's were lined up. Tach was good from the start. Speedo wasn't. Had to pull it all out and realine the little wire at the base of bulb. All good now. lessen learned again. Always test before you reinstall.

Just put LED's in mine, one screw and the cover comes right off, on the speedo also remove the screw in the trip reset.

I found out that the LED's are slightly larger and I made the mistake of putting in before testing it so decided to pull it back out.  LED stayed up in the housing, had to pull the mount and shake it around a little then reach up with a small needle nose and gently ease it out.
