If so I am curious how you mounted it since the engine crash bar design is different on and IS then it is on a Standard or Tourer. One of the main differences is that a little bracket is added for the horn on the IS. If you have a pic please send to cmgreene1520@gmail.com      thanks

The engine guard you describe, is standard equipment on an Interstate. The difference is an air scoop underneath and the location of the horn bracket. What did you need to know? cooldude

Are you talking about the non-Honda chrome guard that is an on-its-side "U" that protects the valve cover, and is connected to the OEM engine guard?

EDIT: Found a picture.  It's similar to this, but somehow bolted to the OEM guard:

No offense mystical warrior but those are about as ugly as it gets IMHO.
To each his own I guess.

I sort of agree, except if you had a standard with no rear tourer/IS bags & mounts with the low guard, it might hold any unprotected hardbags you did add off the ground in a tip over/fall and slide.  Or not.

I'd have to add some big spotlights on the inside of the tall ears on those guards, to hide them a little.
