We did some mods to our '97 Valk for Laura.  See claims it is a great improvement from before...I've only put about 3 miles on it since the mods.   We were out for a quick ride 2 nights before leaving for the CBR, and at a drink stop at a convenience store, my phone rings.  It was Black Dog checking in on what time we would meet up along the way.   We talked for about 20 minutes and in that time, I couldn't begin to count the people that came up and asked Laura if that was her bike and commented on how nice it was...hey, I was sitting on my bike right beside her and nobody noticed my bike.  It was like I was invisible!

Going to the CBR on her own bike was her first long distance ride...930 miles round trip.  I miss having her sitting behind me, but it is kind of nice having a second bike along on a trip.

Bet ya never thought your Beautiful IS would play second fiddle to any bike, let alone being relegated to 'Pack Mule'  Wink

Ya did a fine job, and should be very proud of both bikes  cooldude
