Ron had been busy with his practice but his interstate has finally called him back to the road.

Possible +1.  It will depend on whether I can get my bike serviced for InZane before that weekend, or not.

Had a nice ride to Edom a couple years ago, arrived in a serious lightening storm, could not see across the street. After the rain and lightening let up I rode on to DFW. I sure would like to repeat that trip, weather permitting.

Turns out Speedo can't go on the 4th - he has a conference on infectious dingle berries or such, so he's riding on the 11th - I'll plan another ride then.  But the 4th is still on - wife's out of town, perfectly good excuse not to do yardwork, etc.  So I'll put together the route shortly and see who wants to ride on the 4th.

On the 11th, I'm thinking we'll head out west to Mary's in Strawn for some giant Chicken Fried Steak.  For those not going to Inzane (which unfortunately also includes me) it will be a nice ride.

the 4th is my wifes Birthday, 29 for the 23rd time I think, so I don't think I will be able to make it.

However the ride on Jun 11 would be good for the June meeting since most will be at Inzane, and like you I will not be there.

We're at 50% chance of rain for Saturday the 4th so far.  We'll play it by ear.  Starting point will be the TA at I-30 and 205 in Rockwall.  9:30am meetup, 10:00am kickstands up and off we go.

While I don't mind riding in the rain, it sure does cut down on the fun so if it's bad, we won't go.

Love the Shed.  Good food, good riding.  Don't know if I would be allowed to ride along since I ride an American made V-Twin.  Might just show up and contaminate the group.  NO, not a HD! I have more self respect than that, hehe. Just kidding for those that would be offended.

The rat bastard weather folks might be right this time. Rain is forecast for the morning and to the southside - or where we are going. Will make the call by noon Friday.

Damn. Guess the drought is officially over after 2 years of this.

The forecast is pretty iffy for Edom and between here and there.  I have no idea what shape the roads are in. So I'm calling off the ride - we have the next ride on the 11th to Strawn, only a week later and hopefully without rain.

For tomorrow, if anyone wants to join me at Sweetie Pies in Decatur, I think we'd be OK - it's not too far, it's not south and we still get to do a little riding.  Rain chances in this area are a lot less than south of here.

I'll be there at 11:15am.

I have no route preference so that works for me.  It's the route used by the MS-150 so I'm very familiar with it.

10:30am.  Want to get to Sweetie Pies around 11:15 - we're only 35 minutes away from the spot on 156.

Thanks for coming out today, Big Ed. Enjoyed the ride and lunch.

I do believe we would have gotten wet if we had gone to Edom.
