I have a 1998 tourer and it has a F4-custom windshield. And was wanting to add a nice vent to it. Has anyone installed one with the F4 windshield and if so what brand vent did you use. Thanks Guys.

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you I have an aftermarket Clearview shield with the vent.  It's a great windshield, but I don't notice any difference in buffeting, or cooling air flow with the vent open or closed.  I bought the 17" so I could see over the top easier, but now I wish it were just about an inch taller.

I have a vent in my Clearview on my IS and it gives a blast of air to my chest when I open it.  I will probably add the vent to all future windshields I purchase.  The one I have is the same as the Goldwing ones and can be bought cheap off of eBay.

I've had the same experience on my Tourer. The question is, is the curvature of the OP's shield close enough to the Clearview shield to make the vent work?

The vent body is a soft plastic that bends a little, It should fit any windshield with a "normal" curvature.
