I carry parts like U-joint and wheel bearings. Maybe an alternator if I won't have quick access to shipping. Even though wheel bearings aren't a beside the road repair for me, sometimes they are hard to find in rural areas where folks CAN fix it if they had the parts.

My main concern is flat tires.  So in addition to a generic zip up tool kit with the normal all purpose tools, I keep:

Compressor and mushroom plugger (these are always in the bags)

Then, for away trips, make sure I have:

22 and 27mm sockets with a breaker bar

My set of mm Allen sockets and mm box end set

Fuses and light bulbs

 if one reads the tech page very often one would think that one needs to pull a trailer behind a valkyrie to carry just about one of everything on it to make sure it can make it home... crazy2
