I'm looking for someone nearby (I live in Utah) who I can borrow/rent a Digisync from. Would love to get my carbs synced on a tight budget.

I can't help you in Utah but if you can swing by InZane I can!  Smiley

Or come to Valhalla in Port Angeles WA and I (or a Vermin) will bring my Digisync.

Or come to Vegas and you are welcome to use mine.  If you'd have posted a week ago, I'd have sent it along with some friends that are in SLC this weekend.  Ah well...

You guys are all very kind. I appreciate your willingness to help despite our geographical differences. BonS I'm glad you didn't scold me for not simply buying my own; I want to own one, but money is tight at the moment. Just had a baby and a recent basement flood that insurance isn't covering 100%, so my wife has been scrutinizing every dollar I've been spending on my bike… *sigh*
sdv03, it's too bad I didn't post this earlier, would've been easy to meet up with your friends. Oh well. Next time I ride to Vegas (was just there in April) I'll hit you up.

So looking on eBay I can get some vacuum gauges for under $4 each, and I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to build my own carb sync set-up kind of like this:

I know I know, it won't be as accurate but it'll be better than nothing. If I do this, what size of tubing will I need to hook up to intakes?

No problem at all. 5/32" I/D tubing is what I use.
