First, my RH exhaust broke the aft muffler band that holds the chrome cover. Appears to be missing the upper inboard part of the band clamp.

It was too hot to handle when I noticed it rattled.
Looks like a specialty piece, hope Honda still stocks it or else I need to get one from "somewhere". Couldn't really tell how that goes together.

I know some install truck stacks, do they reuse the OEM clamps?

I also have a PO-added light module of some sort, which turns the rear turn signals into Brake lights unless the turn signal is on, then it still flashes. The Honda Tech. that inspected it says I need red lenses to replace the ambers. Has anyone found a red lens to fit the rear turn signals?

My thought was to put red LED lamps in there and have a combination color, bright LED red shining through an amber lens? Might be pretty noticeable, yet legally "red".

Thoughts?

Bueller?

Those bands are prone to getting rusty and breaking after a while.

When mine broke, I scabbed in a section of roofing tin and it is
working well...

Red lenses that fit can be found, but you need to see if yours are the two screw or the one screw type mount.  Measure the diameter and go looking through the big suppliers like Tucker Rocky or Parts Unlimited.  It has also been reported that the ambers can be painted with Testors candy apple red.  My supervalk came with some cone shaped red lenses (and a run-turn-brake module for the signals), but I have never seen them elsewhere.  Also, I think the Kuryakyn Deep Dish Bezels with Lenses (comes with different color lenses, including red) will fit Valk, but only the one-screw mounts (I think, memory fading).

Maybe (one screw mounts).  http://www.amazon.com/Chrome-Glow-TSL-HR-Replacement-Cruisers/dp/B00LD73NJ4

When I had this problem, I just took a large stainless steel clamp and wrapped it around the entire shield.  No...it wasn't the prettiest but I hardly ever saw it.

As for the truck stacks, no, you do not re-use the clamps with them.  The truck stacks complete cover the exhaust can.  See this page in the ShopTalk for information about installing truck stacks:  http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/truckstackinstall.htm

You could go with clear lenses...like these:  http://www.amazon.com/Technologies-Approved-Turn-Signal-Replacement/dp/B00230B3Y2/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Honda%7C59&Model=GL1500CF%20Valkyrie%20Interstate%7C17894&Year=1999%7C1999&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&newVehicle=1&s=automotive&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=motorcycle
