First of all, Welcome to the Florida Chapter.  There are many rides that originate northeast of Tampa. The park at San Antonio in sight of the post office is one, the Speedway gas station at 50 and Springlake road is another huge meeting place. Watch the board for rides and jump in. If you have a specific area you want to scout out, name that area here in a reply. Loops are in all directions. With Inzane on the 13th many members will be away and make for a quiet board for a few weeks.

Thanks! I'm already feeling welcomed!  So like I said, its a 2003 and its Black (but of course it is).  Right now it has 32,565 miles on it.  I've had it for about 6 months now and I bought it with 30k miles.  I also have a 2007 Honda 919 aka Hornet CB900F.  I like to say the Valkyrie is what the Hornet wants to be when it grows up. LOL. And its VERY FAST.  Its got stock exhaust but with glass packs, I love how it sounds.  Its in mint condition, I think 32k miles is nothing, this thing is just now broken in.  I had my mechanic give it a full service, checked everything, every possible "known issue" was inspected and he completed tuned it perfectly.  I changed the mirrors and I installed a chrome plated "Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club" back plate in honor of this site and exclusive Valkyrie community.  All in all I LOVE this bike.

Yesterday morning I rode up 301 to Zephryhills and stopped at McD for a quick breakfast. A fellow rider comes in and asked "who's got the Black Valkyrie outside?".  I told him its mine and he said he just wanted to let me know that he loved my bike and parked his bike next to mine.  He asked me many questions about it, how I liked it, was it fast, was it comfortable, what year, how many miles, etc.  He was genuinely interested in it.  I was feeling very proud that another biker admired my bike so much.  When we were done and it was time to leave, we left together.  When I get outside, he was riding a 2015 Black Honda Valkyrie F6C!  Awesome looking bike I might add.  But it was extra nice to realize how much My Classic Honda Valkyrie still draws so much admiration.  This bike is a head turner!

Get used to that.  Valks just seem to naturally draw attention.  You'll get asked about it all the time.  Sooner or later some one will ask you if that's a V-8 motor.

You must have been giddy when you saw me ride up. I have yet to see another Valk, besides yours, in the flesh as well.
